Welcome to IRLP Node 6500
The Internet Radio Linking Project (IRLP) uses Voice Over IP (VoIP) to link an Amateur Radio Repeater System to another Amateur Radio Repeater over an Internet Protocol (IP) link.
Using the connectivity of the internet, IRLP can link to another repeater located almost anywhere in the world.
IRLP Node 6500 supports both IRLP and EchoLink modes. Nodes of this type are known as EchoIRLP nodes. Details on how to operate each mode can be selected from the menu.
IRLP Node 6500 utilises the services of the VK5RAH repeater located at Lobethal on a frequency of 146.775MHz (-600KHz offset). No CTCSS Tone is required.
This repeater covers most of the Adelaide metropolitan area, the Adelaide Hills, Murray Lands, Barossa Valley and Lower Mid North areas.
Maps for this part of South Australia can be found in the links section.
